At Parkway Lawns, we mulch the grass leaves back into the yard for several reasons, all of which improve turf health. By mowing weekly we keep the clippings to a minimum and let these clippings act as a slow release fertilizer. Over time, one can even reduce the amount of Nitrogen fertilizer that is applied to the turf due to returning the clippings. Returning grass clippings to the lawn is a great organic fertilizer. Lastly, we sharpen blades often which helps to make a clean cut on the blades of grass instead of tearing the grass.
We accept checks, cash and major credit cards. We accept payments for 1 month in advance. We are dependable and reliable so by doing this, one keeps their lawn service uninterrupted.
Communication is so important with customers and we strive to excel in this area. Communicating with customers builds confidence and trust. We contact our customers through email when the schedule has to be adjusted due to weather or newsletters. Building relationships with customers is a win/win.
We do not share our customers’ information with any outside companies. Your privacy and security is a priority so credit card information, addresses, names and emails are kept in house.
I always highly suggest letting us mulch the leaves in the fall. This is a similiar philosophy with mowing the turf grass. There are several advantages to this. One is that fallen leaves are approximately 10% Nitrogen. When these are mulched and put back on the lawn, this will act as a slow release fertilixer throughout the winter, complementing any fertilizer program you might receive from us.
